Dorothy Giddings, owner of Dot's Farm Junk in Sprague, Wash., is 83. She survived cancer and heart disease. She and her husband recently took in a 15-year-old troubled boy. Dot is feisty and friendly. Giddings is a treasure hunter but I'd say she's the treasure. Watch the short video below and you'll fall in love with her, too. I met Giddings while I was in town photographing Dave Thompson's vintage car collection in Sprague. Dot and Dave are neighbors and business partners. They sell old car parts out of a vacant grain elevator. I'll say what's obvious: Metting Giddings was the highlight of my photo trip.
