I'll say what's obvious: Film photography has its limitations. You get only so many shots per roll. On this day trip to wheat country in north-central Washington I took one roll of film. Fifteen shots. And it was enough. I've visited these locations before and I'm still drawn to them. The retired silos are off U.S. Route 2 on the Waterville Plateau. I'm glad the land owners haven't torn them down. The structures are an open-air museum, as are a couple old barns in the area. I hope they last for many more decades. As I was leaving I spotted farmers plowing a large field with tractors and support vehicles. I'll say what's obvious: This is not easy work. My last stop was the farm on the right. The windmill was used to draw water from the ground to water the crops. You can see pipes inside this wobbly shed.
