Small wheat farming towns across eastern Washington have not aged well. Some are virtual ghost towns. They come alive only during harvest time like Winona above. I don't know how old the grain elevator is above but it's old. I assume it's still active during wheat season. I found the litter can at an abandoned gas station in Benge a few miles away. Gas pumps were removed a very long time ago.
