Soda pop has been around forever, it seems. Brands come and go but popularity for the sweet drinks remains. Even the old soda signs attached to drive-ins and local stores have survived. Like the burger joint in Orondo, a farming town in north-central Washington. It used to be a post office. I pass through Orondo when I'm driving to wheat country on the plateau above. I like the old, soda-themed thermometer in the city of Wenatchee to the east. Has anyone tried grapefuit soda? And admit to liking it?
