Kodak Portra, the world's finest grain ISO 400 film, has won me over. I might like it better than Kodak Ektar 100, which is very good. Portra has well-balanced color, contrast and clarity. I found the 1963 Falcon Ranchero in Arlington, a timber and farming town north of Seattle. The Ford is parked at a closed 1960s era gas station on main street. The property is cluttered with old car parts. I like the Falcon's Nike-like swoosh. The 9-11 memorial below is located north of town at a concrete company. The thermometer in Wenatchee caught my eye for obvious reasons: grapefruit soda pop. Sounds awful but the bottle looks good outside the auto body shop.
