Kodak Ektar is my favorite color film. Sure, I love Fuji's popular high saturation films, Provia and Velvia. But I keep coming back to Ektar. Colors are rich and vibrant. Kodak claims Ektar is the finest grain color negative on the market. I haven't tested every color film, and maybe I should. But why mess with a good thing? The images above and left were shot in Bellingham, Wash. The mural is painted on the side an apartment building. The spaceship is parked outside Rocket Donuts, a Sci-Fi themed bakery. Inside, a 1951 movie prop, the robot from "The Day The Earth Stood Still," stands in a corner. I found the Chevy emblem on the grill of an old van in Everett, Wash.
